RGVQG PRESIDENT’S EMERGENCY NOTICE BOX

This area is to notify members of a cancellation of a guild program due to dangerous weather conditions or an emergency that would impact the ability to conduct a scheduled guild program. If there is any concern you may check this area for information.

A notice will be posted ONLY if there is a cancellation. If a member does not have Internet abilities it is their responsibility to contact someone who can access the web site for them. The emergency notice will be posted on the web site only.

Fort Hood * 4/29/2010 338 total items were delivered to Fort Hood April 29th by Susan Flarity, Michelle Taylor, Joyce Yazel, and Patti Dybdall. All of the toys, wheel chair quilts, children's quilts , and wall hangings were given to the Chaplin Michael Spikes to be distributed to Carl R. Darnell Army Medical Center. 9 full size bed quilts were delivered to fisher house which is a place for the family's of warriors in the hospital to stay. The remaining 148 quilts were distributed to the Warrior Transition Brigade, 2nd battalion. After each Soldier had the opportunity to select their quilt we thanked them for their service to our Country. There were lots of hugs all around.
